If you are unable to join from Zoom on a computer or mobile device, then you can join on the telephone instead. If you would like to attend a Zoom meeting via telephone use one of the dial-in telephone numbers provided in the email invitation and follow the prompts. (TIP: by ticking the “Automatically join audio by computer…” option box first, will mean you won’t get prompted again in the future. If you wish to join audio via the telephone, follow the instructions further down, otherwise select " Join Computer by Audio" Next you will be prompted how you wish to join your audio. This name is simply to identify you in the meeting. Before entering the meeting you will be prompted to enter a display name. If the host has not started the meeting yet, you will see a message stating "Please wait for the host to start this meeting" at the top. If it doesn't, open the Zoom app that you just downloaded, click on Join a Meeting and enter the meeting link or ID. This should automatically connect you to the meeting. Reopen your email and click on the meeting link again. Download the Zoom Client and install on your PC or Mac. When entering a Zoom meeting for the first time from a computer, you will be prompted to download a small application file. If joining from a mobile device (Android smartphone/tablet, Apple iPhone/iPad), you will be prompted to download the Zoom Cloud Meetings app from the App/Play Store if it is not already installed. Go to and Enter the Meeting ID that you have been provided with in the “Join a Meeting” field and click ‘Join’ (the Meeting ID will be a 9,10, or 11-digit number).
